Ukraine denounced agreements on perpetuating the memory of the courage and heroism of the peoples of the CIS in the Great Patriotic War and on the avoidance of double taxation of income and property and the prevention of tax evasion, members of the Verkhovna Rada spoke in support of these decisions. This was announced in the Telegram channel by a member of the Ukrainian parliament from the party “Voice” Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

According to its provisions, the parties undertook to coordinate their actions to perpetuate the memory of the courage and heroism of the peoples of the states— participants of the CIS in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Russia and Ukraine also agreed on how exactly they will preserve the memory of the fallen servicemen, equip and maintain memorials and military graves, and search for the remains of the dead.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Finance noted that after the innovation, the state budget will not lose income from taxes that Ukrainians pay to the Russian treasury. In addition, Kyiv will stop exchanging tax information with Moscow.
These are not the first agreements between Russia and Ukraine that Kyiv has been denouncing since the end of February. So, on May 3, the Ukrainian parliament canceled the agreement on conducting a coordinated policy in the field of standardization, metrology and certification of 1992, and on March 25 withdrew from the agreement with Russia on the mutual recognition of diplomas.
